Sports Assistant

Role Overview Our client is seeking a Sports Graduate who is enthusiastic about contributing to a dynamic and forward-thinking educational environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the physical education department. Term-time only Key Responsibilities Leading and assisting with regular sports clubs and training sessions with a focus on areas of personal sporting expertise. Acting as a lifeguard during ensuring pupil safety during all aquatic activities. Helping with the preparation and organisation of sports equipment Assisting in the delivery of curriculum-based physical education and games lessons alongside teaching staff. On occasion, delivering practical sports lessons to cover staff absence. Assisting with the planning and delivery of sports events, as well as supporting the day-to-day administration and operational needs of the sports department. Requirements Degree in sports science or similar Experience working in an educational setting is desirable Lifeguard qualification Ability to deliver outstanding, engaging and fun practical Sport lessons. Attainment and maintenance of skills and knowledge/accreditation for the role A true passion for sport
