Job Description Job Description Lifeguard-Recreation Department Join the Lifeguard Crew! The City of Watertown is staffing for seasonal lifeguard positions. Interested individuals will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the patrons who are in attendance at the aquatic facilities evident by recognizing, preventing and responding to emergency situations and/or hazardous conditions. We are currently looking for certified individuals for our indoor pool for the spring and/or fall (mornings 5:45-7:15am, evenings times vary) and our outdoor pool for the summer (hours vary). This is a seasonal hourly position. Summer hours will range from 20 hours but not to exceed 40 hours in a work week. School year hours will range range from 10 hours minimum a month. Minimum age requirement for Lifeguard Certification is 15 years old. Must be available for nights and weekends. Applications will be accepted until positions are filled.
