Full-Time Swim Instructor (with Administrative Responsibilities) Are you passionate about swimming, safety, and making a real difference in the lives of others? Spa 23s FINS Swim Academy is hiring a Full-Time Swim Instructor to join our dynamic and supportive aquatics team! This unique role blends hands-on swim instruction with vital behind-the-scenes administration , making it perfect for someone whos organized, compassionate, and ready to lead. What Youll Do: As a Full-Time Swim Instructor, you'll be responsible for both in-pool instruction and key program support, including: Teaching group and private swim lessons Lifeguarding and ensuring strict adherence to pool safety protocols Providing excellent customer service to swimmers and families Managing program communications (email, phone, Facebook updates) Responding to public inquiries about aquatics programs Updating lesson schedules and internal documentation Supporting team coordination and daily operations Promoting aquatics programs to schools, community groups, and the public Performing administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and email monitoring Assisting the Aquatics Director with additional duties as needed What Were Looking For: Lifeguard Certified (American Red Cross) 12 years of experience as a lifeguard and swim instructor Background in competitive or team-level swimming preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable with face-to-face, phone, and email interactions Warm, patient, and team-oriented attitude Highly organized , reliable, and efficient What Youll Get: Full-Time Position with leadership opportunities Health and Dental Insurance 401(K) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Complimentary Spa 23 Gym Membership The chance to help others learn a life-saving skill while growing your own career in a supportive environment Location: 381 rt 23 Pompton Plains NJ 07444 Ready to Dive In?
