EAL Teaching Assistant (Arabic, Urdu or Punjabi)

Full‑Time EAL Teaching Assistant (Arabic/Urdu/Punjabi) Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester (BL3 area) Start Date: September 2025 Position: 1:1 support / classroom assistant Hours: Full-time, term-time (Mon-Fri, approx. 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM) Employer: Tradewind Recruitment - Primary school via agency Key Responsibilities Offer targeted language support (Arabic or Punjabi) to EAL pupils, helping them access the KS1/KS2 curriculum. Collaborate with class teachers and SENCO to develop and implement individualised learning plans. Foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom atmosphere for pupils with English as an additional language. Assist with small-group or 1:1 language intervention and monitor language progress. Support pupil involvement during lessons, break times, and school transitions as needed.Qualifications & Attributes Fluent in Arabic, Urdu or Punjabi and strong English communication skills. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience). Experience working with young children, ideally in a school/EAL context.
