Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description Job Description In this role you will be responsible for design work, utilizing SolidWorks and Windchill. The work is for a DoD customer and you will be needed on-site. To be considered for this role you must have a BS in Mechanical Engineering, be a US Citizen and have a current DoD Clearance (Secret or higher). You must show a minimum of 5 years of solid work experience (or 3years if you have an MSME); not including school projects, research projects or summer internships. Looking to interview and hire in the next 2-3 weeks. Responsibilities: Design and develop advanced subsea systems and vehicles Use of SolidWorks MCAD and PTC Windchill PDM Software Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law Active Secret Clearance Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related science, engineering, or mathematics field 5 year of job-related experience Mechanical Engineering Design Proficiency with SolidWorks MCAD and PTC Windchill PDM Software Engineering background in the Undersea Domain Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of autonomous/unmanned undersea vehicle (AUV/UUVs) technologies, principles, theories, and concepts Hands-on experience assembling prototype systems Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Creative thinker ready to design and develop innovative solutions from conception to production Company Description Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security.
