Duty Manager in Repton - Fantastic Sports & Fitness Centre Hours: Full-time, 40 hours (rota including evenings, weekends & bank holidays) Base salary of up to: £29,355 We’re looking for an energetic and customer-focused Duty Manager to help lead the day-to-day operations of a busy Sports & Fitness Centre in the heart of Repton. Home to some larger scale sporting events and offering a wide range of facilities, this is a leisure job not to be missed. What you’ll be doing Managing and motivating a small team (lifeguards, reception, café and cleaning staff) Ensuring the centre operates safely and efficiently, with a strong focus on health & safety including pool testing and risk assessments Delivering excellent customer service and being the go-to person during your shift Working closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth experience for members, students and the community What we’re looking for 3 years’ operational experience, including at least 2 years in management Strong people and communication skills – approachable, calm under pressure and proactive A hands-on leader who sets high standards and leads by example Pool Plant Operator and National Pool Lifeguard qualifications (or willingness to achieve) What we offer 20 days holiday bank holidays Pension scheme & free Sports Centre membership A supportive, friendly team environment Your recruiter for this role is Maddie Cummings, Recruitment Director at Love Recruitment group, and can be contacted simply by applying for the role below.
