Schools - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with California licensure and a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide specialized speech therapy services to students in a K-12 school setting. This contract opportunity is for the Extended School Year (ESY) program, running from June 9 through July 3 in Porterville, CA. Key Qualifications: Valid California licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP - CCC) Experience providing speech-language services within school environments (K-12) Ability to work efficiently during a short-term, intensive ESY program Responsibilities: Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students identified with communication needs during the ESY session Collaborate with educational staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques to maximize outcomes Utilize and oversee the work of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) assigned to support therapy Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress Location: Porterville, California Duration: June 9 July 3 (ESY session) Contract Type: Temporary ESY contract Benefits of this role include working in a supportive school environment with SLPAs provided to assist in therapy delivery, allowing you to focus on clinical care and student progress.
