Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations for our Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), representatives and their staff. This role will focus on training advisors and their office staff who support investment advisor representatives, managing communications, and ensuring seamless onboarding of new business processes and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate must be Series 65 licensed, customer-service oriented, and familiar with the Charles Schwab platform. Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and develop office staff who support Investment Advisor representatives, fostering a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement. Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound calls and emails related to RIA advisors & their employees to assist in items such as; New Business Processing, service related instructions, navigation of Schwab Advisor Center, etc. Plan, design, and deliver training programs for office staff on: Charles Schwab platforms, tools, and workflows, reports How to submit new business (new account openings, transfers, trading and related documentation) Work with Chief Compliance Officer on Compliance procedures and advisory best practices Support existing training materials and internal advisor training events, agenda creation, content development, and post-training evaluations. Collaborate with other company departments, compliance to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Monitor and report outreach analytics, training effectiveness, office performance metrics, and staff competency levels. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and firm policies; maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry rules and Schwab platform changes. Provide escalation support for complex advisor requests and partner closely with senior leadership to implement improvements. Required & Preferred Qualifications Current Series 65 license or completion of exam within 90 days of hire. Demonstrated experience in financial services, relevant experience with an RIA or custodian and/or advisor networks and employees. Strong knowledge of Charles Schwab platforms, operations, and typical RIA workflows (or demonstrated ability to rapidly learn). Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and professional phone/email etiquette. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong organization, project management, and multitasking abilities. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance. Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, compliance, technology, and advisor relations teams. Proactive problem-solving mindset with a customer-first approach. Familiarity with other supported platforms (e.g., other custodians, CRM systems, document management tools). Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
