Job Description Job Description Description: Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our manufacturing team specializing in trailer production. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial painting equipment and techniques, and a strong understanding of surface preparation, coating application, and safety standards in a manufacturing environment. Benefits: - Medical, dental, vision after 90 days - 401K match up to 3% - PTO - 7 paid holidays - Exceptional place to work and have fun doing it. - Monday through Friday/ summer hours 6am to 230pm, winter 7am to 330pm Pay $22.00 to $26.00 per hour Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Prepare trailer surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying appropriate primers. Apply industrial-grade coatings(e.g., epoxy, poly aspartic, poly urea, and enamel) using spray guns or other equipment as required. Operate and maintain painting tools, spray booths, and related equipment. Ensure proper thickness and even application of paint and perform quality checks throughout the process. Follow paint specifications, work orders, and production schedules. Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Handle and store hazardous materials according to company and regulatory guidelines. Assist in training junior painters or helpers when necessary. Report equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors promptly. Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum 2-5 years of industrial painting experience, preferably in a trailer or heavy equipment manufacturing environment. Proficient in using HVLP, airless, or conventional spray systems. Familiarity with paint prep processes (e.g., sandblasting, chemical prep). Knowledge of industrial coatings and curing times. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, paint codes, and safety data sheets (SDS). Must wear and properly use PPE, including respirators and protective suits. Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in confined or elevated spaces. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and safety. Preferred Skills: Forklift or overhead crane operation experience is a plus. Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes. Work Environment: Manufacturing plant setting; exposure to paint fumes, dust, noise, and temperature fluctuations.
