Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist with Certified Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) to support K-12 students in Delaware. This full-semester contract position offers a focused caseload predominantly serving middle and high school students, with some involvement with preschool students from the special education department. The role is based at a single school site in Lewes, DE, and is perfect for candidates comfortable working in educational settings, including teletherapy. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to middle and high school students, addressing a variety of communication disorders Collaborate with special education staff to support preschool students requiring speech-language intervention Deliver teletherapy as needed to enhance accessibility and continuity of care Manage caseload documentation and maintain clear communication with school personnel, families, and healthcare providers Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and implementation Qualifications and Experience: Current SLP - CCC certification required; candidates with SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience are encouraged to apply Experience working in pediatric healthcare, educational settings, or teletherapy is highly desired SLPA background with healthcare experience can be considered for certain support roles Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and effective communication skills Work Details: Location: Lewes, Delaware Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, MondayFriday Contract: Full Semester, starting ASAP through the end of the school year with no summer hours required Single school site assignment, allowing consistent integration with one school community This role offers an ideal platform to make meaningful contributions to student development and communication skills during a defined contract period.
