Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a K-12 school environment in Delaware. This full-semester contract position offers a focused caseload predominantly consisting of middle and high school students, with additional support provided to some preschool students from the special education department. Location: Millsboro, DE Duration: Full semester contract, starting ASAP through the end of the school year Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, no summer hours required Work Setting: One school site Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy to middle and high school students with diverse communication needs Provide therapy to preschool students associated with the special education program as needed Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success initiatives Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience working in healthcare, pediatrics, teletherapy, or school settings Familiarity with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) standards welcomed Experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in healthcare environments considered an asset Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse student populations This role offers a dynamic work environment focusing on student progress during the academic year with no obligation for summer hours.
