Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full semester contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a K-12 school setting located in Seaford, Delaware. This role primarily supports middle and high school students with a caseload concentrated at one school site, along with some preschool students served through the Special Education department. The position offers a structured schedule of 37.5 hours per week, starting immediately and continuing through the end of the school year, with no summer hours required. Responsibilities: Provide speech-language services to students in middle and high school, implementing individualized treatment plans Support preschool students from the Special Education department as needed Conduct assessments, document progress, and collaborate with educators and families to optimize student outcomes Deliver services in accordance with state and federal educational guidelines, ensuring compliance with all regulations Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions and student progress Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare, school, or teletherapy settings Eligible for or completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Background in both healthcare and school-based speech-language pathology preferred Ability to manage a middle and high school caseload effectively Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team Location: Seaford, Delaware This long-term contract position is ideal for SLPs seeking a dynamic role in a supportive school environment with a consistent caseload and hours.
