Sports Attendant Minimum 100 Guaranteed Hours (756143)

Salary Range: £24,685 - £25,804 FTE: As and when required Contract Type: Open Contract Closing Date: 26/10/2025 The University of Strathclyde is looking to employ several Sport Attendants on a minimum of 100 guaranteed hours per year contract to join the existing Operational team at Strathclyde Sport. This is a varied role and you will be required to deliver a high quality and excellent customer experience for all users. You will possess an ability to work on your own initiative and have a commitment to working within a team. Your main duties include swimming pool lifeguarding, setting up and down of sports and class equipment and working on reception using a Leisure Management System (Gladstone) dealing with day to day enquiries, bookings and memberships. As part of the team you will help ensure a safe, secure and clean environment for the users. All candidates must have a valid and current RLSS or STA Pool Lifeguard Qualification. Hours offered will be between 6.30am to 10.30pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am to 6.30pm at weekends and will be line managed by a Duty Manager.
