Operations Manager

Operations Manager Salary: £30,000 basic £2,000 bonus (renewals KPI) Location: Leicester, East Midlands (UK-wide travel) Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Overview: We’re recruiting an Operations Manager to run end-to-end delivery of mobile pool services for schools across the UK. You’ll take ownership from contract handover through to site sign-off - scheduling crews, managing H&S/RAMS, coordinating kit/vehicles, and ensuring compliant, on-time delivery across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities: * Manage end-to-end service delivery from handover to completion and sign-off * Build, roster and lead field teams (marquee build crews, swim teachers, lifeguards) * Plan routes, schedules and site logistics across multi-site operations * Own Health & Safety compliance: RAMS, risk assessments, site audits, toolbox talks * Coordinate suppliers, equipment, vehicles and site readiness * Resolve on-site issues quickly; maintain proactive client communication * Track KPIs and produce regular operational performance reports * Drive continuous improvement across processes and logistics Candidate Profile: * Proven experience in operations/logistics/service delivery (multi-site preferred) * Strong people leadership and recruiting field teams * Excellent scheduling, organisation and problem-solving skills * Confident stakeholder and client communication * Solid knowledge of H&S, RAMS and quality standards * Full UK driving licence; flexibility for UK travel and occasional early starts Desirable: * Background in leisure, events, facilities management, education or seasonal field ops * Understanding of safeguarding, pool operations or lifeguard staffing Salary & Benefits: * £30,000 base £2,000 bonus (renewals KPI) * Mileage and expenses for UK travel * Training and progression as the operation scales
