Job Description Job Description Description: Schedule: Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri 2:00pm-7pm, Wednesdays 11:30am-7pm Location: Castaic Middle School Boys and Girls Club Status: Part-time, non exempt Salary: $19/Hour Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age with a vaild drivers license We are looking for energetic charismatic people who have a deep passion for working with children and teenagers, who want to make a difference in their community and have a positive impact on the future. This is a high energy calling, because it is more than a job. It requires consistency and reliability from caring adults who will mentor and inspire youth. You will work with a wide variety of youth from various socioeconomic backgrounds. Make a difference and join our team. Under the supervision of the School Site Manager and Site Coordinator, the YDP assists in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and delivery of programming at the Club. Experience should cover a wide variety of youth development programs. The YDP will develop meaningful relationships with youth in an after school and summer program setting. Position: Youth Development Professional Responsibilities: Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities for members. Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all members. Assist with homework and provide tutoring support. Collaborate with staff and parents to ensure a seamless integration of Club programs with the community. Provide mentorship and support to Club members. Drive BGC van to pick up members from local schools and bring them back to the club. Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age Must have a valid drivers license Ability to undergo a drug test, TB test & Background check Minimum of one year working and interacting with Youth Ability to stand, bend, kneel and lift up to 20 pounds Some college preferred Boys and Girls Club does not discriminate based on race, color, creed, religion, sex (including pregnancy), gender identity, sexual preference, national origin, age (40 or older), disability, veteran status or genetic information.
