Investment Banking Summer Analyst Internship Our client, a leading global financial institution, is seeking ambitious and analytical individuals to join their Investment Banking Summer Analyst Programme. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to projects that shape global markets, drive innovation, and support the growth of major corporate and institutional clients worldwide. About the Role As an Investment Banking Analyst Intern , participants will join a supportive and high-performing team that values diverse perspectives and new ideas. Interns will receive structured training and hands-on experience working on live deals and strategic client initiatives. Throughout the placement, they will analyse financial markets, build financial models, prepare client presentations, and help develop solutions to complex business challenges. The programme begins with an intensive orientation and technical training week, designed to build a strong foundation in financial analysis and transaction execution. Those who excel may be considered for a full-time offer upon graduation. Key Responsibilities Conducting market research and financial analysis to support mergers, acquisitions, and capital-raising activities. Building detailed valuation models and producing pitch materials for clients. Supporting senior team members in managing transactions from initial pitch through to execution. Contributing creative ideas to address real-world business and strategic challenges. Strengthening technical and analytical skills through hands-on project work. Developing professional relationships with mentors, colleagues, and senior stakeholders across the organisation. Candidate Profile Essential Skills and Qualifications Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Fluency in English (both written and verbal). Expected to graduate between January 2027 and December 2027 . Availability for the full internship period as specified in the job title. Preferred Skills and Qualifications On track for at least a 2:1 Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline. Adaptable, resilient, and eager to learn in a demanding professional setting.
