OBH is fully accredited, providing high quality care in a compassionate environment to many tourists and local patients within their community. This full-service critical access hospital offers a wide range of services, reaching 350,000 visits during their summer season. The Outer Banks Hospital Nags Head, NC 23,000 Annual Volume 21 ED Beds 3 OR s Emergency Med NPPA: • Coverage starting ASAP - September 14,16,21,23,25; 7a-7p - September 3; 3p-3a - September 6; 2p-12a - September 9,17,25-28; 7p-7a - September 10,11,13,14,18,23-25,28-30; 12p-12a • Average of 20 patients per day • Established team of 6 physicians and 3 Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants • Specialty consultation available including general surgery, orthopedics, cardiology, and tele stroke • Specialty Backup: Anesthesia, Radiologist • 24 Lab and X-ray • 18 acute care medical-surgical beds, 2 labor and delivery/recovery beds, 1 level II nursery bed and 3 operating rooms, a designated caesarian section room, and a 24-hour emergency department • BLS, ACLS, and PALS/APLS certifications required (through American Heart Association) • EMR: EPIC Best, Maci Matherne Recruiter The Talent Society o. f. w.
