Lifeguard (Full-time)

Job Description Job Description A private residential health club in Manhattan is seeking a full-time Certified Lifeguard to monitor and supervise the pool and Jacuzzi area. This is the afternoon/closing shift; candidates must be available to work 1:30pm - 9:30pm. Responsibilities include: Ensure a safe environment for patrons Enforce pool rules, regulations and club policies Respond to swimmers in distress Routine monitoring and recording temperature readings, chlorine levels, etc. Clean and maintain the aquatics facility Perform other related duties as assigned The requirements for this position are: A valid lifeguard certification A valid CPR and first aid certification High school diploma or GED equivalent Candidates must have a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills, attentive, with a focus on exceptional customer service.
