As a summer intern, you'll, - Help form the future of a rapidly growing company - Have exposure to the industry's top talent, experience, and skills - Develop strong relationships - Understand the industry's leading technology - Be a part of a growth-oriented, team-focused, and energetic culture The Summer Internship Program follows the schedule below: Weeks 1-4: Carrier Sales Week 1: In-classroom training and written test Shadowing all department Weeks 2-4: Carrier sales Sourcing capacity, negotiating rates and tracking shipments. Weeks 5-7: Carrier Sales All carrier sales items above Send updates to customers, track and trace, resolve minor issues, communicate with customers, build and schedule shipments. Weeks 8-12: Carrier Sales Operations All carrier sales and operations items above. Listen to and critique recorded calls, hear and learn TransLoop pitches, learn how to leverage TransLoop service offerings, qualify leads, build prospect lists and learn all facets of the sales cycle. What You'll Need Be enthusiastic and eager to learn! Identify a proven track record of high performance Carrier/customer brokerage model experience is always a plus! Experience with high volume and multi-faceted accounts in any industry Strong writing and speaking skills Bonus: Cubs or White Sox game during Chi summer with your intern class!
