Head Lifeguard

Job Location

125 Lakeview Street - Sharon, MA, United States

Job Description

Lifeguard applicants must have a great personality, be hard-working, detail-oriented, work well as part of a team, be an outstanding communicator, and love to solve problems. A capacity to learn and grow is a must. Ready for a challenge? We are looking for a Head Lifeguard at a Day Camp Waterfront which looks and acts more like a Resident Camp Waterfront. An optimal candidate for this position would have resident camp waterfront experience (or equivalent) or aquatics management experience. You will be responsible for supporting a Waterfront Director to manage a team of 15-20 lifeguard/swim instructors. Motivating our waterfront staff and instilling in them a strong sense of safety, warmth, enthusiasm, professionalism, and pride is a crucial part of this role. You will also oversee our inflatable adventure course. All our swimming is done in a lake (no pools), using a floating dock system to separate and define swim areas.

If you are looking to forge a career in the Camp industry, in aquatics, or in education you could not ask for a better experience than this Lifeguard position! Free LGT and/or WSI re-certs are available to the successful candidate! Equal Opportunity Employer.

We welcome SKYPE, Facetime, or Zoom Interviews!
