The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Application Development Intern to help develop, test, maintain, and support applications that are secure, scalable, and robust. The intern will gain experience analyzing and troubleshooting software problems and providing solutions to those problems.

What You Can Look Forward to

  • Work in a small, high performance agile team environment sharing innovative ideas and working collaboratively across teams.
  • Work with talented engineers, UX designers, and product visionaries to contribute to the vision and design of our web and someday mobile properties.
  • Modify and improve the front ends of interactive websites incorporating HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, .NET, and React as well as other techniques.
  • Assist in the development of technical application design documents.
  • Conduct initial unit testing of all coding changes with the goal of providing a stable production environment.


What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Working towards a BS in Computer Science / Computer Information Systems or equivalent degree, or equivalent experience can be substituted for degree.
  • 3.0 Cumulative GPA.
  • Experience with coding in more than two development languages (C#, SQL, VB.NET, C++, Objective C, HTML, Java Script, Java, XML, ASP.NET, React, etc.) and be proficient in those languages.
  • Knowledge of web development environments (Windows Server, IIS, WebSphere or Apache).
  • Previous internship and/or work experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work as part of a team demonstrated through involvement with student organizations, community involvement, work experience, or other activities.
  • Strong time management skills.
