Surveyor - Civil

What YOU Will Do Setup and operate total station GPS instruments for lay-out and as-built capture of roads, bridges, utilities, etc; Create grade sheets and as-built construction reports; Collect, organize and record measurements and other data to help prepare drawings, charts, plans, maps and other documents; Perform quality control for survey work; Accurately calculate layout from digital design files; Perform construction layout and quantity surveys; Generate and maintain drawings by tracking and capturing as-built data; Coordinate with project team and maintain site benchmarks. What YOU Will Bring Minimum 5 years of construction surveying experience in civil/infrastructure construction projects; The ability to interpret and use information from maps, drawings and measurements taken in the field; Post-secondary degree or diploma in construction engineering or related discipline; Strong interpersonal and communication skills; High level of attention to detail and ability to work independently on multiple projects; Excellent computer skills including proficiency in AutoCAD are required to be successful in this role; Adaptable and willing to work varying hours as the job demands; Knowledge of the market.
